Housing Starts Improved - Bonds and Mortgage Rates Improved

Housing Starts for August rose to 598,000 – better than the 583,000 expected and the highest level since last November – while Building Permits came in at 579,000, a bit shy of the 583,000 expected. All in all, a decent report, suggesting that while we are not out of the woods just yet, the worst in the housing market may have passed.
